Silly season

Phew well its hotting up down here in North Devon and I`m not just talking about the weather,we are going into the festival season.The Oceanfest,The Greenman festival and The Creation festival, ad that lot to the barbeque promised weather its going to be a scorcher and I hear they have Newton Faulkner as a special guest at the Oceanfest.
Well I have been busy setting up another publication no not another HOBO but you will have to wait and see so thats all for now.  Bo

My music baptisim

Growing up in the 60s it was quite easy to get into the music world of rock`an roll and other things,my old man was a caretaker of a arcade in a Midlands city and next door was a night club and he used to let the groups park their vans in our side entrances.

Well i use to talk to the road crews and got invited in to the gig by the back door ( you no ` Im with the band )

Some of the bands that played there in those days were the Animals,Kinks,Johnny Kid and the Pirates and Joe Brown we also used to do other things for a gass like fly posting in the middle of the night and it was not long befor you were lugging vox amps and drum sets about in your ca Bedford or Morris van and thats how it started for me.
